Residential Garbage Collection Days

The following are pickup days for the City of Pipestone:

• Residents residing West of Hiawatha Avenue - 7 AM Tuesdays
• Residents residing East of Hiawatha Avenue and Hiawatha Ave - 7 AM Wednesdays

All garbage totes must be placed curbside before 7:00 a.m. with the wheels facing the curb on the day of collection. Collection Days may be subject to change when Holidays fall on Collection days.

Monthly Garbage Service Fees

• $7.25 per month billed to each residence. 
• $1.50 per unit for multiple units

*This service fee is charged to all residents to cover costs of services such as street sweeping, branch pickup during storm events, operation costs of the city's branch site, spring and fall city wide cleanup days, maintaining doggie pots, and other trash services at the city parks etc.

Monthly Residential Tote Fees

• 35 gallon - $13.00 per month + Tax
• 65 gallon - $15.00 per month + Tax
• 95 gallon - $17.00 per month + Tax

Residential garbage tote fees and service fees will be added to your monthly utility bill.
