How much time do I have to remove the snow and ice from sidewalks following a snowfall?

Sidewalks are required, by ordinance, to be cleaned of snow and ice within a reasonable amount of time. The reasonable length of time is considered to be twenty-four (24) hours after the ending of a snowfall. If this is not done, the City may have the sidewalk(s) cleaned and the property owner assessed for this service if no payment is not received within forty-five (45) days.
