Chamber of Commerce Committee Descriptions

Ag Committee - Established to work with agribusiness in promoting agriculture in Pipestone and area. Prime project is the 4H-FFA Ribbon Auction held the last day of the Pipestone County Fair. We need your help and support with this very fun, worthwhile project.
 

Ambassadors - Represents the Chamber as goodwill ambassadors welcoming new businesses into the community. Attend the First Dollar of Profit plaque presentations to new businesses, plus host a new member reception. Many times the Chamber Ambassadors are a new businesses' first real contact with the business community. Please sign up for this committee and we will contact you for each visit.

Pipestone Planning Committee - Responsibility of the Retail Trade Committee is to coordinate and assist the many "City Wide" promotions. Every Chamber Retailer is encouraged to attend the meetings.

Watertower Festival - Pipestone's yearly community celebration. This event needs volunteers with event producing skills to help guide the future growth of the Art & Craft Show. Responsible for entire production of Festival with major emphasis being the Art & Craft Show.

Rodeo Committee - Charged with coordinating the annual chamber rodeo with the stock construction, Triple B Rodeo and Gunderson Promotions.  Board members Keith Nettick and Linda Erickson head this committee.

Membership fees to the Pipestone Chamber of Commerce are based primarily on the size  of a business. Following is the fair share self appraisal schedule.
