Types of Financial Assistance Provided

  1. Companion or secondary loan which can reduce the overall project interest cost

  2. Direct loans

  3. Guaranty loans made by private lenders

  4. Interest Subsidy Loans arranged with private lenders

  5. Direct Principal Reductions with private lenders

  6. Direct Grants as specified by agreement  between EDA and the developer. (i.e. public infrastructure improvements, maintaining a set number of jobs for a prescribed period of time after loan is repaid, etc.)
