Few communities have a better recreation center than Pipestone. The modern center is open year 'round  to the public. Facilities include a swimming pool, weight/exercise rooms, whirlpool, racquetball/handball court, steam room, gymnasium, tanning bed, and aerobics room. This is a multi-purpose activity center and visitors are very welcome.

The City of Pipestone is proud to present the area's newest Family Aquatic Facility, which opened in July of 1997. The modern 90's version includes a flume waterslide, drop slide, 1-meter diving board, zero depth, and a water/sand play area for small children. Other features include sand volleyball courts and a new playground.
This facility enhances the whole presence of Harmon Park, which also includes six tennis courts located on the east side, and a softball diamond located in the center of the park. A picnic shelter for special gatherings is also available.
