The University of Minnesota Extension Center for Vitality is conducting a survey to newcomers in Pipestone County. Our goal is to hear from newcomers about their moves to rural places; to understand what's difficult, what they like about their new home, and whether they feel integrated into the community. Extension will use findings from the study to help rural communities focus on workforce recruitment, and to think about how to welcome and involve newcomers in the community.
