As of April 1st, the City of Pipestone requires sump pump users CEASE the discharge of sump pumps and footing drains into the sanitary sewer per City Code, Chapter 3, Section 3.20, Subd. 6.
Individuals failing to comply with City Code could receive a pretty misdemeanor and/or discontinuance of City utilities. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
