The Pipestone Water/Wastewater Department will be flushing hydrants in Pipestone beginning Monday, July 25, 2016. Flushing of all hydrants will be completed approximately by September 30, 2016.
During this time residents might detect some cloudiness in their water due to the disturbance of sediments in the water pipes; however, the water is safe to drink and use.
The flushing is a necessary part of an ongoing program of hydrant and water maintenance.
