The Pipestone Water Department will begin its routine water main and hydrant flushing program on Sept 27 through Oct 15. During this time residents might notice discolored water. This in now way affects the safety of the water. If discoloration occurs, turn on all household faucets and let them run for several minutes to help clear the household pipes.
