City of Pipestone
As of April 1st, the City of Pipestone requires sump pump users to CEASE the discharge of sump pumps and footing drains into the sanitary sewer per City Code, Title 5, Section 50.30.
Individuals failing to comply with City Code could receive a misdemeanor and/or discontinuance of City Utilities. NO EXCEPTIONS!! The Water Department will be out checking and enforcing this ordinance.
